Exquisite equine and canine photography is hard to find, but luckily, you’re in just the right place for exactly that. From our beautiful farm in the heart of the glorious North Fife countryside, I offer a bespoke and completely unique portraiture experience for you and your most important four-legged friends. Working mostly with equestrian families and working dogs, I specialise in a very special breed of photography which ties in with the many rural activities that take place every day on our farm.
A BETTER BREED OF PORTRAIT
Growing up around animals has given me a natural affinity with them. There are few photographers who understand that unique connection between rider and horse or owner and dog as completely as I do. Living and working with animals is – simply put – in my blood. It’s not something you can learn, you just have to live it.
A farm fit for photography
Our working farm offers a host of great locations for a photo shoot. As well as being a working farm, it’s also home to our thriving equestrian business which offers arenas, cross country facilities and hosts Pony Club camps throughout the year. We have ample parking for lorries, some beautiful landscapes to make those portraits pop and plenty of space. We have areas that are completely dog-safe (even for those four-legged Harry Houdinis out there) and secure for your dogs to roam free.
My Log cabin studio
Not only is my studio lovely to look at, it’s also 100% dog-proof. Wipeable floors, a cosy log burner, fully cleaned and disinfected between sessions and a bottomless supply of treats for good boys and girls, your dog may never want to leave.
Have camera, will travel
Many of my shoots take place here on the farm, but I’m more than happy to come to you. If there’s a place that’s special to you and your pony (be that a glade, a favourite hacking spot or even a beach), we can head out there together and capture some beautiful, natural photos of you together.
Every dog has his day
Sometimes the term “man’s best friend” just doesn’t really cover it, does it? Our dogs can be so many things to us: our best friend, our livelihoods, and always a treasured member of the family. A collection of beautiful portraits of them will ensure that their memory is cemented forever in your family history.
A friendship like none other
My equine shoots are crafted around the magical connection between horse and rider. The ponies we have as young children hone our personalities and life skills: it’s the kind of relationship that you have to experience in order to understand.

The woman behind the lens
This is the bit of my site where I scratch my head trying to write down something engaging about myself that will both intrigue and delight you as my potential client. Given the nature of my work, I think it’s enough to say that I’m passionate about horses, working dogs and all things outdoor (particularly the Scottish outdoors). It kinda goes with the territory, doesn’t it?
